Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost
The First Article of Faith Says, We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
I know that God is always near us and we can’t communicate with Him by writing to Him or calling on the phone. I know we have to communicate with God by praying. I know that in church that we learn about Him and His Son. And I know that He is our Father. In 3rd Nephi 18:21 it says, “Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed.”
I know that Jesus is our brother and that He sacrificed for us. I know that He will also always be around us through prayer. I know that God and Jesus made my family and me and all of you. I know that Jesus made this earth so that we could live on it. I know that He will guide us through life.
I know that when you get baptized you are able to be confirmed and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost helps you chose the right. He helps you choose the right by whispering into our hearts and telling us to be careful or warning us not to do bad things. In 1 Nephi 10:17 it says “I, Nephi, was desirous also that I might see, and hear, and know of these things, by the power of the Holy Ghost, which is the gift of God unto all those who diligently seek him,” I am grateful that I have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost to help me.
